Options for the Blog page can be found in Global Appearance > Customize > Layout > Blog/Archive.
There is where you can choose:
- the layout of the page (from the three layouts available)
- the layout of the posts on the blog page
- the pagination type (numeric or infinite scroll – loading a new batch of posts on each scroll)
- the length of the excerpt (when the Excerpt Lenght is set to 300, the entire post content will be displayed)
- whether to show the author avatar or not.
